Berkdrums This is an amazing discovery… I’m holding back a little from buying a lot of ambient, I think a lot of repeating stuff is going on lately and I love it when different ingredients are being mixed up and tried out. This reminds me of what Michael Allison (Darshan Ambient) did and was a maestro at I think.. This is even more jazzy but equally amazing! ‘Cathedral Forest’ for me could go on for hours..! Favorite track: Cathedral Forest.

Shibusa is a Japanese word that describes an aesthetic of simple, subtle, and unobtrusive beauty, with an economy of form, line, and effort that produces a feeling of timeless tranquility. Shibusa objects appear to be simple when viewed as a whole, but they also include many details that balance this apparent simplicity with a deeper complexity. This balance ensures that shibusa objects continue to reveal new meaning and beauty over time. I have endeavored to incorporate these timeless aesthetic principles into this album.
